I am drawn to the natural world. My knowledge of and reverence for nature has been in progress since I was a child and formalized in my career in horticulture and landscape architecture. So, it makes sense that my post-retirement hobby is an extension of that.
Photography has become a means of self-expression — a way to interpret what I see and feel in a way that, at least for me, is better than words. It may be a response to some grand landscape or a small scene from nature, or a pattern or fleeting play of color and light.
It’s also a way for me to slow down, be less distracted, and completely present in the world around me. I invite you to experience that world with me.
